This game is lifeless, both teams have confirmed their positions for the next round, and Bayern will definitely qualify as the top of the group. However, Bayern had an extra incentive to win games to maintain a perfect record, and that certainly shows how it unraveled.
Inter started well and were awarded a penalty in the ninth minute, but Mane’s challenge to Nicolo Barrera was deemed fair. They could only blame themselves for not taking the lead shortly after, though, as Lautaro Martinez somehow managed to fire from just outside the yards.
They were also forced to regret missing a substitution half an hour later when Pavard gave Bayern the lead at the end of a Joshua Kimmich corner.

Bayern slowly took control of the game as the game went on, their inevitable second coming in the 72nd minute. The wait was also well worth the wait as Chopo Moting slammed a powerful shot into the top corner after a clever turn.
With Bayern taking full control of the game after Chopo Moting’s goal, Nagelsmann opted to replace two promising youngsters, 17-year-old striker Mattis Tell and 16-year-old midfielder Paul Wanna. Edin Dzeko was brought down in stoppage time by Bayern goalkeeper Sven Ulreich.
Bayern is the only team to have won six of their six group matches this season after Napoli was the only team to have won all of their first five games.
