Manager Eric Ten Haag announced on Wednesday that French defender Rafael Varane will be available for Manchester United after the World Cup, adding that forward Cristiano Ronaldo will be involved in their Europa League clash with Sheriff Tiraspol.
Centre-back Varane, 29, looked distraught as he entered the tunnel at Stamford Bridge after suffering an ankle injury midway through the second half in Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Chelsea.
Ten Haig confirmed that Varane, who won the World Cup in 2018 , will miss United’s remaining six games before the mid-season break, but did not rule him out of the Nov. 20 – December 20 campaign . 18th game in Qatar .

Ronaldo was ruled out of Saturday’s trip to Chelsea after he was out of the squad for training last weekend and was sidelined for refusing to come on as a substitute in the previous game against Tottenham.
The 37 -year-old rejoined the squad on Tuesday to provide a welcome boost to United’s attack, while Martial remains sidelined after missing the past four games with a back problem.
Eric Ten Haag added that he will inform captains Harry Maguire, Donny van der Beek and Aaron Wan-Bissaka , who are all suspended after injury, on the playing time when he is late. Back to training on Tuesday.
