Premier League – Leeds United 0-1 Arsenal: Bukayosaka keeps Gunners ahead

Bukayo Saka continued his terrific form with a 1-0 win over Zambia to keep Arsenal ahead in the Premier League – but the visitors luckily escaped thanks to a second-half penalty error by Patrick Bamford .

The game was suspended for 40 minutes at the start of the game due to a power outage after 60 seconds. This is a game played without VAR .

Leeds went head-to-head with the league leaders in the first half, with Saka taking advantage of Rodrigo’s unnecessary cross to give the Gunners the lead with a powerful finish .

VAR struck again in stoppage time, Arsenal conceded a penalty and Gabriel was sent off for violence against Bamford, but referee Chris Kavanagh was sent to the monitor and finally gave A foul in the opposite direction.

Full of hope

The full-time whistle sparked wild celebrations for Arteta , whose side set Arsenal ‘s best league record after 10 games since the 1904-05 season.

England midfielder Saka attacked from the right and tormented Leeds’ Struic for most of the game, and the only goal came through this channel.

While Leeds’ threat continued until the end, Arsenal secured their fourth away goal difference in a promising fixture.
