Chelsea‘s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is ‘excited’ about his Arsenal reunion. When the two clubs face off in Sunday’s London derby, but manager Graham Potter is looking to steer clear of the forward as his side seeks a morale-boosting victory.
Last season, Aubameyang fell out with Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta over disciplinary issues. He was first stripped of his captaincy and had his contract terminated ahead of a move to Barcelona in February.
The 33-year-old Gabon international has made more than 150 appearances for Arsenal, scoring 92 goals, and returned to the Premier League in September to cross the London divide to sign for Chelsea and has so far scored three goals in 11 appearances.
Chelsea clinched a much-needed Champions League win in midweek after slumping domestic form, struggling against Brentford and Manchester United, and at Porter’s old clubs Brighton and Hoveall. Bean suffered a 4-1 humiliation.

Chelsea jumped at the chance to bring Aubameyang back to England after a brief stint in Barcelona, with Porter agreeing this weekend will be “interesting” for the 33 – year -old.
As for whether Aubameyang has anything to prove to Arsenal, who has scored 92 goals for Arsenal in all competitions, Porter said no . Instead, Porter thought he was looking forward to the game and was excited about it.
