Omar Azili ‘s first- half brace was enough for Haifa to seal Juve’s third Champions League defeat in four games of the season on the night.
The home side almost broke the deadlock in the opening five minutes when Pierre Konud found Tejaron Chery in the six-yard box with a cross from the left. However, Wojciech Szczesny was ready to save Chery’s subsequent header.
Three minutes later, Maccabi Haifa scored through a cross from Konud. The full-back once again put a deadly ball into the box, with Omar Azili reaching the top position to put his head in the bottom corner of the net.
Shortly after, Chery took a superb free-kick from the crossbar outside the box, before Azili was blocked by a save from Szczesny, who curled a shot wide of the post.

Juventus is getting worse
Things went from bad to worse for Juventus, when Angel Di Maria, the only player who appeared to be able to pass the ball to Dusan Vlahovic , was hobbled by a muscle injury.
While Juve continued to struggle after Di Maria was replaced, Haifa continued to put pressure on the final third, with Azili making it 2-0 with a bold header .
